     Fire is one of the most significant risks to any facility. This course provides comprehensive training on fire prevention, the chemistry of fire, fire-fighting equipment, and the planning of effective emergency evacuation procedures.     Day 1: Principles of Fire Safety

    • General Fire Prevention Measures.

    Day 2: Fire Risk Assessment (FRA)

    • Identifying Fire Hazards and People at Risk.
    • Evaluating, Removing, and Reducing Risks.
    • Recording Findings and Developing an Action Plan.
    • Reviewing and Updating the FRA.

    Day 3: Fire Protection Systems

    • Active Fire Protection: Smoke detectors and Alarm systems.
    • Passive Fire Protection: Fire doors and Compartmentation.
    • Fixed Fire Suppression Systems (Sprinklers, Gaseous systems).
    • Portable Fire Extinguishers: Types, Selection, and Use.

    Day 4: Emergency Planning and Evacuation

    • Developing the Emergency Evacuation Plan.
    • Roles and Responsibilities of Fire Wardens.
    • Managing Vulnerable People (PEEPs – Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans).
    • Conducting and Evaluating Fire Drills.

    Day 5: Emergency Response and Coordination

    • Liaising with Emergency Services.
    • First Aid for Burns and Smoke Inhalation.
    • Human Behavior in Emergencies: Managing Panic.
    • Workshop: Simulating an Emergency Response Scenario.
